This in-depth, 8-day training is offered in 2 separate modules, to allow time for rest and integration of the material between workshops. The training is offered in a retreat format to emphasize yoga teacher self-care as an all-inclusive destination experience. Vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue, common issues for those working in the field of trauma care, are also explored.

The training is equal parts professional development and personal growth, as a yoga teacher’s capacity for embodied self-regulation and therapeutic presence is one of the strongest tools available for supporting students. The training is offered in a retreat format to emphasis yoga teacher self-care, and the topics of vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue will also be explored, in acknowledgment of the impact of the work on teachers.
