Sit & Sip: A Meditation Social at Redchurch Cafe + Gallery

Invite your senses to open as you explore the warmth of seasonal drinks in a relaxed setting with new and old friends before settling in for a comforting guided meditation surrounded by local art work.

Redchurch Cafe & Gallery and Lilli Markle welcome you to the first Sit & Sip event, where you will enjoy a seasonal warm drink or refreshing cocktail in the cafe space before finding your way back to the gallery for a cozy guided meditation experience.

The doors will be open starting at 7pm
Meditation program begins at 8pm
Event ends at 9pm

Registration in advance is required. There is a $25 entry fee which includes one drink ticket per person. Additional food and drink may be purchased in the cafe at your convenience.

About Your Hosts

Lilli Markle

Lilli Markle, a Canadian-raised citizen of the globe, has been a student of yoga, meditation and bodywork for 10 years and a teacher for five. Lilli is a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with designations in various movement, meditation and healing modalities, including Thai Massage and Ayurvedic Bodywork through the Sunshine Network, Integrative Restoration (iRest), Franklin Method and Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis.

Finding her way into the wellness field as a recovering ballet dancer, Lilli discovered how these practices brought a new found awareness, healing and curiosity surrounding her body and mind. She hopes to inspire her students’ own curiosity both on and off the mat. Lilli teaches public and private yoga and meditation, drawing from hatha, vinyasa, restorative and yin yoga as well as Zen and Vedic meditation styles. She also offers workshops, retreats, corporate wellness consulting and thai bodywork.

Redchurch Cafe & Gallery

Redchurch is a favourite of many artists, business owners and local Hamiltonians alike, located in the heart of downtown in Gore Park, serving specialty coffee, teas, juices, smoothies, craft beer, prosecco, house-created cocktails, baked goods and freshly prepared breakfast and lunch daily. Redchurch has partnered with The Assembly Gallery, a local artist-run contemporary art co-op, to showcase special events and international art exhibitions.
