Join Carla, a certified Mindfulness facilitator, for a day of mindfulness practices including guided meditations and visualizations, an energizing qi gong session with Leslie Macmillan, mindful eating, nature walks and a gentle yoga session with Kari Kalisz.
This retreat is suitable for all levels of mindfulness experience. A home-cooked vegetarian lunch plus snacks and coffee/tea are included.

Organizer of Mindfulness Retreat “Embracing Change”
Carla is a certified facilitator with MindfulnessEveryday.org and founder of “Peace, Love and Ruby Shoes”, offering mindfulness presentations, workshops and retreats. Since retiring after 30 years of classroom teaching with the Waterloo Region District School Board, Carla has taught mindfulness practices to students from Grade 2 to Grade 12 as well as Mindful stress management and resiliency techniques to Educators.
