Mindful Self Compassion 8 session course

Mindful Self Compassion is an empirically-supported, 8 session, training program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion and is based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Christopher Germer.

Mindful Self Compassion enables you to:

  • Practice self-compassion in daily life
  • Understand the empirically supported benefits of self-compassion
  • Motivate yourself with kindness versus criticism
  • Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
  • Transform challenging relationships, old and new
  • Manage caregiver fatigue
  • Practice the art of savoring and self-appreciation

What to Expect During the Program

Course activities include meditation, short talks, experiential exercises, small and large group discussion and home practices. MSC teachers are committed to providing a safe and supportive  environment for this process to unfold and to making the journey interesting and helpful for everyone. Studies confirm that practicing Self Compassion results in less stress, anxiety and depression; maintenance of healthy habits like diet and exercise as well as more relational satisfaction!

No previous experience with mindfulness or meditation is required to attend MSC

Early Bird $425.00 before March 1st, $475 after March 1st

The cost of the course may be covered by third-party insurance.

Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) are also offered. Check with your workplace/college.
