Introduction to ‘Thought-Awareness’: the basis of all mindfulness.

Did you know that the average human has 60,000 thoughts each and every day?

I’ve done the math, and guess what?!

That’s almost one thought every second of your waking hours - exhausting, right?

But here’s where it gets even crazier…

On average, around 95% of those thoughts are repetitive, and 80% are negative.

We are literally thinking negative thoughts on repeat like all freakin’ day!

These negative thoughts manifest in different ways including:

  • Negative self-talk/judgement
  • Dwelling on the past
  • Worrying about the future

In this workshop, we’ll explore the foundations of Mindfulness & Mindfulness Meditation to see how you can regain control over your thoughts. We'll look at the most common 'mind traps' and how we can get out from those traps. Turn those negative, repetitive thoughts into positive ones.

We will engage in mindfulness exercises and meditations that you may bring with you into your daily life to assist you in noticing and regulating your thought patterns to help you create a calmer, less-stressful and more positive life.
