DESCRIPTION:WHY PRACTICE MINDFULNESS? \nResearch indicates that four weeks of regular practice will restructure the brain in ways that will help you improve your ability to manage and cope with stress\, regulate emotions and improve your overall well-being. \nMINDFUL SOLUTIONS FOR CHANGE \npresents a four-week introduction to mindfulness designed for individuals with limited or no mindfulness experience. Participants will explore the basics of simple mindfulness practices with an overview of the neuroscience that supports them. \n\nThursdays March 24 to April 14 \n7:00 pm to 8:30 pm \nMINDFUL SOLUTIONS FOR CHANGE \n501 Templemead Drive\, Hamilton ON \nFacilitator: Arunas Antanaitis \nCLASS LIMITED TO 15 REGISTRANTS \nFEE: $75.00 plus Eventbrite Registration \n  \n  \nArunas Antanaitis is a retired high school teacher with 30 years experience and the co-founder of Mindful Solutions for Change\, delivering mindfulness-based programs for educators\, organizations and individuals. \nArunas is certified as a Mindfulness Meditation Specialist and Transformative Mindfulness Methods Facilitator\, trained at the University of Toronto Factor Intewash School Of Social Work. He is a trained \nfacilitator with Mindfulness Without Borders\, which delivers Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum to high school students. Arunas trained with Dekyi Lee Oldershaw at the Centre for Compassion and Wisdom\, and received certification as a facilitator in the 16 Guidelines\, and the 5 Tibetan Yogas. He is an associate facilitator with Mindfulness Everyday and board member of Centre of Compassion and Wisdom. \n
