DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness Hamilton invites you to attend free mindfulness meditation drop-ins at the Love My Mat storefront 809 King Street E.   \nEach session will be led by a volunteer facilitator\, giving you an experience with different approaches to mindfulness meditation from mostly guided to mostly silent. The meditation period is about 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes of questions and discussion.  \nBring your own meditation cushion and mat if you have them. We will have some extras on hand and will provide chairs as well. You may want a blanket as well.  \nLove My Mat is a lovely storefront space with lots of light\, wooden floors\, a peaceful decor and is wheelchair accessible. You can park on King St in front of the store (unless it snows)\, in the CUPE parking lot on Stirton Street (west of Love My Mat)\, or on a side street. Several bus routes travel along King Street if you are coming on public transit. Love My Mat is at 809 King St. E. near Sherman. \nYou are welcome to decide to come at the last minute. However we ask that you  register in advance if possible so that we can notify you if there are any changes in the schedule. Registering will also put you on a list to be notified of other meditation opportunities we are planning for the future.
