DESCRIPTION:The 8 week\, 9 session MBSR curriculum is based on an intensive training in mindfulness meditation. Embedded within the context of Mind/Body and Integrative Medicine\, the MBSR curriculum focuses on the cultivation of both ‘formal and ‘informal’ mindfulness practices as a foundation  for psychological and emotional resilience that can be utilized across your entire life. Two decades of published research indicate that the majority of people who complete this course experience: \n\nReduced stress\, anxiety and depression\nImprovements with pain\, tiredness and headaches\nIncreased awareness and concentration\nIncreased perception and memory\nGreater energy and enthusiasm for life\nImproved self-esteem\nAn ability to cope more effectively with both short and long term stressful situations\n\nWHEN: \nTuesday October 9th\, 2018 | 6.30pm-8.00pm \nClass Dates: 8 Tuesdays: October 16\, 23\, 39.
