DESCRIPTION:NEW COURSE OFFERING IN MONTREAL in collaboration with The Mindspace Clinic: Explore the therapeutic benefits of MBCT while looking at its clinical applications. This is the first module of our Core MBCT Facilitation Certificate Program. \nMindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) combines the practice of mindfulness meditation with the tools of cognitive therapy. This highly experiential workshop adapts this treatment to health-care providers for personal use. Participants will explore habitual modes of mind that characterize changes in mood while simultaneously developing skills and a new relationship to these states. It has been referred to as the heart of MBCT because it is such an essential part of this modality and is vital for those wishing to facilitate MBCT groups.
