DESCRIPTION:“What consumes your mind\, controls your life.” \nLearn to take back control with Mindfulness Meditation. \nIntroduction to ‘Thought-Awareness’: the basis of all mindfulness. \nDid you know that the average human has 60\,000 thoughts each and every day? \nI’ve done the math\, and guess what?! \nThat’s almost one thought every second of your waking hours – exhausting\, right? \nBut here’s where it gets even crazier… \nOn average\, around 95% of those thoughts are repetitive\, and 80% are negative. \nWe are literally thinking negative thoughts on repeat like all freakin’ day! \nThese negative thoughts manifest in different ways including: \n\nNegative self-talk/judgement\nDwelling on the past\nWorrying about the future\n\nIn this workshop\, we’ll explore the foundations of Mindfulness & Mindfulness Meditation to see how you can regain control over your thoughts. We’ll look at the most common ‘mind traps’ and how we can get out from those traps.
